As a child I played a lot with Barbie dolls. I loved to put beautiful clothes on
them, but the variety of clothes was quite limited at that time. So I started to
make different magic clothes myself. This passion later determined my career –
I became a light industrial engineer. Now I teach the next generations of fashion
designers in an art school.
Recently toys have become a part of my life again, and I haven’t seen much
change in the field of doll clothing during the last couple of years. So mixing my
creativity and professional experience, I started to design and make clothes and
accessories (bags, shoes etc.) for dolls again.
At first I made good quality clothes for children for playing but – when I
discovered that there were other 1:6 ration dolls as well – I changed to using
more subtle materials and more difficult techniques gradually. During the process of
clothmaking I like doing the most perfect job. I make high quality clothes and
accessories (Barbie, Poppy Parker) for collectors, and for individulals over 14.
